[Stream] No Doubt- “Settle Down”

So this happened today; No Doubt, finally, released some new material. The last time I—or any of us, for that matter—heard a new No Doubt song was eleven years ago. In terms of the music industry, that’s a long time for a band to be away. And yet, judging from “Settle Down” the lead single released today off their upcoming album, Push And Shove, it’s safe to say that the band hasn’t lost its way.

The song itself is what you’ve come to expect from No Doubt; unexpected influences mixed with a New-Wave sound. I like it. You can say that it sounds a bit like Santigold (or Santogold as she’s known now) but, let’s be honest, she borrowed from No Doubt. That said, the actual video directed by Sophie Muller arrives later today after its premier on the E! network. Until then, here’s this one below.
