Well, it looks like the rumor may be true; Beach House have a new record coming out and it’s called Bloom. It’s hitting stores in May and last night, the band, posted what may be a track off of it. The song is called “Myth” and it’s what you’ve come to expect from the Baltimore duo; dreamy, and hypnotic indie-pop. I’m looking forward to hearing the rest. Check it out below.

Bloom is, allegedly, out May 15 via Sup Pop.

About a year ago, I came across a track from Keep Shelly in Athens; a downbeat pop duo from Athens, Greece. The track was called Fokionos Negri Street and it hooked me in right from the start. Suffice to say that, since then, I’ve been following and downloading everything the Grecian duo have put out.

As I described above, the duo make sublime downbeat pop tracks. Thus, listening to “DIY” for the first time was a little surprising. Its vibe is less laid-back, and has more of an urgent pep in its step. It’s another gem from a duo that, in my eyes, has yet to falter.

“DIY” comes from the duo’s impending 12″ Our Own Dream being released in a few weeks via Forest Family. You can also, if you live in any of the following cities—Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and New York— catch the duo on their first North American Tour which kicks off November 5 at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas.

It’s right around this time of year that the rampant “who’s playing Coachella?” rumors and hearsay start to spread. One constant rumor going around is that, next years edition of the fest, will have French electronic duo Justice returning to the festival’s stage after a four year period away. This, to me, of course, makes perfect sense. Here’s why: They’re about to release their highly anticipated sophomore album entitled Audio, Video, Disco and judging from the tracks that “leaked” this weekend, it’s shaping up to be a big one—sonically that is.

Newly leaked tracks, “Newlands” and “Canon,” touch on the 70′s Prog-Rock/Arena Rock vibe that inspired the French duo—comprised of Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé—during the making of their sophomore LP. A sound that, as mentioned, is sure to fill up the wide-open polo field perfectly. Out of the two, I’m enjoying the straight-up 70′s rock with the tinge of electronica feel of “Newlands.” Because of it, I’m hoping that the speculation of Justice playing next year’s Coachella is, well, more than just rumors and hearsay. So I can dance …okay, sway(!) to it in April. Check—and grab—both of them below.
