Album Stream Roundup: Tegan and Sara, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Jim James, Hayden and More

new-release

I have to really get this up earlier. I apologize, but sometimes stuff—like school—gets in the way. That said, there’s a lot of great stuff available to stream this week.

If you head on over to Spinner you can stream Heartthrob, the new, and solid, album from Tegan and Sara. As well as Adam Green & Binki Shapiro by, you guessed it, Adam Green (of Moldy Peaches fame) and Binki Shapiro (from Little Joy). And, last but not least, ‘Til Your River Runs Dry by Eric Burdon (of Eric Burdon & the Animals).

NPR’s First Listen has We the Common the new Thao & The Get Down Stay Down album. Along with Regions Of Light and Sound Of God the debut solo album from My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James.

KCRW’s Album Preview has Automechanic by Jenny O.

Over at Advance, you can stream In Guards We Trust, the debut album from Guards. The sophomore album from Veronica Falls entitled Waiting For Something To Happen. And Chalk Tape by Screaming Females.

Also, at CBC Music, an album that I’ve been waiting for: Us Alone by Canadian singer-songwriter Hayden.
