Album Stream Roundup: Foals, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Iceage, Texas Is The Reason, and Mark Kozelek

new-release

This week’s edition of Album Stream Roundup is a good one. I’m sorry. Did you ask why? Oh, you did. Well, there’s some great albums available for streaming. Some of them I’ve been listening to obsessively ever since I received them. Alright, let’s get to it.

If you head on over to Spinner you can stream Holy Fire, the new album from Britain’s math-rock quintet Foals. It’s awesome, and worth your time. Since you’re there, check out Matt Costa‘s self-titled album, No Elephants the new album by Lisa Germano, Pissed Jeans new LP Honeys, and Do You Know Who You Are? The Complete Collection the classic album (plus two new songs) by Texas Is The Reason.

Another favorite of this early year is available over at NPR’s First Listen. That record is Push The Sky Away by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. This, like the Foals record, is awesome and worth your time.

And last but not least, P4K Advance has some good ones; You’re Nothing by Iceage, The Marriage of True Minds by Matmos, and Like Rats the new covers album from Mark Kozelek. There’s a bit for everyone in that record; Genesis, Sonny & Cher, Godflesh, Bad Brains, and…Bruno Mars, to name a few. I’m not even kidding. Check it out.
